The Gulf Coast of Florida is extremely beautiful and full of unique treasures to visit when in the area. My family and I were just there last weeks, and we stayed in a hotel right on Fort Myers Beach, which is on Estero Island. During the day, we would walk along the seashore, and at times, we would get the car and start driving around the island. We visited Sanibel Island, Captiva, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers Beach.
Sanibel Island and Captiva are my two favorites to go and spend the day and have a picnic right by the water. At the beach of Sanibel, you can find all kinds of seashells on the sand and it’s actually one of the best beaches in Florida for those who like to go collect seashells. They are beautiful and they come in all different kinds of colors. Sanibel and Captiva are very family-friendly beaches, and the waters are crystal clear. My family and I love visiting here.
In Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Springs, there also a lot of things to do along with the beaches, eateries, and shopping centers. But, one of my favorite things to do is go to Fort Myers Beah Pier and watch the Pelicans fly by, and appreciate the beautiful sunsets that are seen here. Around late afternoon, you can not only see the sunsets, but the Dolphins also come out to play around that time and in the morning as well. It’s a must-see if you are in the area.
The Gulf Coast of Florida truly has its beautiful treasures, it’s all about taking a chance to go explore them, let me know how your experience goes or if you want any more tips to visit around the area. 🙂
Have fun!
